Brown, Dan: Author of The Da Vinci Code and the upcoming The Lost Symbol. Made a vague reference to the Kryptos coordinates on the dust jacket of The Da Vinci Code and mentioned the sculpture in The Lost Symbol. Sanborn has stated publicly that he had not spoken with Dan Brown about Kryptos and does not want the sculpture's true meaning somehow transformed.

Dunin, Elonka: Author of The Mammoth Book of Secret Codes and Cryptograms. Official Kryptos Sculpture Spokesperson. Elonka is a cofounder of the Yahoo! Kryptos Group and lead a team that cracked Sanborn's Cyrillic Projector. She maintains a website about Kryptos, its history, and other Sanborn works.
